Celebrating 35 Years!

Please share

Dr. Michael here!

Autumn is coming, and with it, our 35th anniversary. Yes, that’s right; Acupuncture and Holistic Health Center has been open since 1988! I have been practicing acupuncture for even longer than that and I still look back fondly at my time studying in England under Professor J. R. Worsley at the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in Leamington Spa. Even after all this time I am still just as passionate about acupuncture as I was when I entered the field in the ‘80s, and I am so grateful to each and every one of you for allowing me to continue to do what I love and for trusting me in your health journeys.

Due to my desire to help as many patients as possible and to show appreciation to all of my long-time clients as well, I am inviting you to celebrate this momentous occasion with us. We will have a special running soon, so follow us on Facebook or Instagram so you don’t miss it!

New at Acupuncture and Holistic Health Center

We have some new members joining our team!

Terra and Jennifer have joined our practice as talented massage therapists. They have already gotten rave reviews from clients within their first couple of weeks! We have a new friendly and helpful front desk assistant, Brooke. We also have a new office manager starting the first week of September, Savannah. We are looking forward to exploring her talents, and we know the patients will love her. We all look forward to helping you in your health journey! Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see our team photos later this month.

If you love Hannah as much as we do, be sure to stop by this month before she is gone. She is stepping back to spend more time with her family and to pursue some passion projects. We are so happy for her, but she will be missed!

Did you know?

There are many different types of acupuncture! Dr. Michael practices the Five Elements acupuncture style. This style seeks to treat the root cause of an issue rather than focusing on the symptoms of the problem. While symptoms can certainly range from annoying to debilitating, if we only focus on making the symptoms stop rather than delving deeper into the cause of the problem, then you will never be able to stop or slow your treatment. Treating the symptoms is just a band-aid solution, while treating the underlying cause is a way to put you on a path to feeling better for life!
