I am so happy to announce that Dr. Mac has recently joined our practice as a talented and experienced Acupuncture Physician! We are excited to have you on board! Dr. David MacIvor, D.O.M., A. P. or “Dr. Mac” as he is known to us, is a Florida state licensed Acupuncture Physician, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and primary care provider in the state of Florida. 

Dr. Mac’s impressive background includes experience in working with some of the world’s most elite athletes: including professional and Olympic-level athletes from Great Britain, Germany, Ukraine, Japan, Scotland, Jamaica, and Bahamas. Among his patients were Cirque du Soleil performers, World’s Strongman competitors, professional Bodybuilders, and Ironman competitors. He has worked as a professor and clinical supervisor for Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando, FL. 

As a 16 year veteran of the U.S. military, he represented the Department of Defense during a nine month pilot program treating soldiers for pain and injury as one of 18 hand picked Board Certified Acupuncture Physicians. Alongside pain and injury of every kind, Dr. Mac has had great success treating digestive issues, stress and anxiety, fertility/gynecological problems, headaches, blood pressure issues, and much more. 

He is able to get quick healing results for his patients, and prides himself on being able to reduce a vast majority of the patient’s pain levels on the very first visit. It is for those reasons and many more that we are excited to welcome him to the Acupuncture and Holistic Health Center family!
